Who we are
TechoIQ is an independent web design and development project, operated from Iraq. It is not currently a registered company.
This page explains how the techoiq.com website handles information, and how we handle what you send us through WhatsApp Business.
What this website does
- The website has no contact forms or user accounts and does not ask you for personal information.
- The website itself does not set cookies and does not use analytics, advertising or tracking tools.
- It loads only its own files: no third-party scripts, fonts or embedded content.
- If you choose the light or dark theme, your browser saves that choice on your device only (local storage). It is not sent to us. You can remove it by clearing this site’s data in your browser.
- The website content is managed in a content management system and turned into static pages before publication, so your visit does not send any data to that system.
Hosting (Cloudflare)
The website is hosted on Cloudflare. When you visit, Cloudflare’s servers receive your browser’s requests in order to deliver the pages and protect the site. These requests include technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the page requested.
Cloudflare processes this information as a service provider under its own policies. We do not use it for visitor analytics or advertising, and we do not enable Cloudflare analytics tools on this website.
Contacting us on WhatsApp Business
- WhatsApp buttons on this website open the WhatsApp app or website with a ready message that you can edit before sending. Nothing is sent unless you press send yourself.
- WhatsApp is an independent service provided by another company. It processes messages and your account data under its own terms and privacy policies. This policy explains how we at TechoIQ handle the conversations and information we receive through it.
- What you send us reaches TechoIQ’s WhatsApp Business account: for example your name, number, project details and what we agree.
- Why we keep conversations: to answer your enquiry, to communicate with you and manage your project, and to refer back to the details of what we agreed when needed, including after a project has ended.
- How long: we do not set a fixed deletion period. We keep conversations for as long as they are needed for these purposes.
- Who can see them: currently, only the project owner can read TechoIQ’s WhatsApp Business conversations.
Your requests
Through WhatsApp Business on our contact page, you can ask us to:
- tell you what information we hold about you;
- correct it;
- delete it.
When we receive a deletion request, we review it and delete the information we control, unless there is a legal or contractual reason to keep it, such as protecting both parties’ rights under a current or past agreement. If any part cannot be deleted, our reply tells you what cannot be deleted and why.
We cannot delete data that third parties, such as WhatsApp or Cloudflare, keep independently. You can manage your WhatsApp account and data through its own settings and policies.
Changes to this policy
If the way this website handles data changes, we will update this page and its “last updated” date.
